In the past few years casual gaming has come a long way. The accepted definition of "casual game" differs depending on who you ask. So for purposes of this list casual gaming is relatively short, cheap, and downloadable. I'm excluding browser-based games (that's for another list) and big budget games. All of these are available for purchase or trial at Reflexive.
10 Astro Avenger II - A semi-3D schmup with a fair difficulty.
9. Ricochet Lost Worlds: Recharged - Takes the classic brickbuster and adds pretty graphics, a ton of levels and a slew of power-ups.
8. Oasis - A highly original strategic game. If only more companies could innovate.
7. WW2 Pacific Heroes - 3D gaming done on the cheap. This arcade style airial shooter shows what can be done with some time and talent.
6. Azada - A random collection of puzzles cobbled together loosley by a story about something or another. Good puzzles, nice graphics though.
5. Snapshot Adventure - Instead of shooting what's in your sights you snap a picture of it. In this case the target is birds.
4. The Great Tree - You're a fairy that collects pollen and avoids bugs.
3. Master of Defense - Tower Defense with makeup on. Only a few levels but plenty of depth.
2. Peggle Deluxe - Shoot a ball downward so that it bounces off as many pegs as possible on its way down.
1. Puzzle Quest - It's a match 3 game like Bejeweled mixed with heavy amounts of RPG. I realize it doesn't sound like it'd work but it does. This is pushing my definition of casual due to the play time but there's nothing else to describe it.
